Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Open-World Adventure in the Paldea Region

Experience the first true open-world Pokémon journey

About the Game

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are the first open-world games in the main series, released on November 18, 2022. Set in the Paldea region inspired by the Iberian Peninsula, players embark on a treasure hunt across a vast, seamless world where they can explore freely from the start.

The games introduce the Terastal phenomenon, allowing Pokémon to crystallize and change or boost their type. Players choose one of three starter Pokémon: Sprigatito (Grass), Fuecoco (Fire), or Quaxly (Water) and follow three main storylines: Victory Road, Path of Legends, and Starfall Street.

With over 400 Pokémon available, including new Paradox Pokémon and Paldean forms, Scarlet and Violet offer a fresh take on the classic formula while maintaining the core catching and battling experience.
